Storytelling Sessions X TEDx Committee
Storytelling is the oldest of all the arts. It connects us to our humanity, to our past, and gives us a glimpse into the future. Telling a story is one of the most effective ways to connect purpose, vision, motivation and emotion. Stories bring our experiences alive and are a way of shaping our existence. A great story is inspiring, and a great leader tells stories that inspire others.
Storytelling = Leadership
As future leaders it is important to listen to stories and to have others listen to ours. We therefore want to give all of you the opportunity to share your stories with the rest of us and practice the important art of storytelling.
Storytelling Session #1: 18 Apr. 2019 (Thu) 17.00-18.30 @ TBD *
*This event will be held after midterm exam and before Good Friday national holiday! We will serve some drinks and snacks, and plan to go to student bar afterward. The venue will be disclosed soon.
We offer a warm, welcome, safe place to share, and most importantly, be heard. Each person will have up to 7 minutes to tell a story. It can be funny, interesting, inspiring, true, made-up, or a story that someone once told you. You can talk about your passions, a struggle period in your life, a most unforgettable trip or a funny thing your dog did. We want to hear your stories! Please be our TELLER ! We are all ears!!
A good story may change your life! So, of course, if you don’t want to tell a story then we would also like to invite you to be audience.
