On Thursday 13th June, our OneMBA Alumni ‘07, Mr. Pim Polak (MD at Brain Technology Institute) will visit RSM to present an internship opportunity they have. The presentation will take place between 12.15 – 13 PM in room JB-49.
The Brain Technology Institute is a non-profit organization founded in 2013. Its mission is to improve the outcome of neurosurgical procedures. We do this by centralizing the knowledge and R&D effort needed to bring to market medical devices that truly make a difference in patients’ lives. Leading world-class neurosurgeons support this mission while BTI’s state-of-the-art facilities ensure fast bench-to-bedside device development.
The core of our RSM MBA assignment centers around answering the following question:
Is it possible for the Brain Technology Institute to establish a venture capital organisation with specific focus on the acceleration of development of invasive treatment options for the treatment of neurological diseases. A final briefing would need to include advise on what our foundation would need to do to make this fund a reality, envisioned timelines and KPIs as well as advise on what would need to happen at Go-Live to make this fund a success story.
During this presentation you will have time to ask questions regarding this project and opportunities after this assignment within this organisation.
If you want to participate, the sign up deadline is: Wednesday 12th June at 12PM! Be aware, sign up means also showing up!!
